Golden Ratio

The ancient Greeks studies the golden ratio and found it harmonious. It is a ratio of 1.618, which describes 2 line segments that has this special relationship: (a+b)/a = a/b.
This implementation fill the composition with fractal-like golden rectangles.

Interesting. I’m wondering if thumbnail images with Golden Ratio dimensions are clicked more. At least in medicine/health, image size tends to be in proportion 1.50 rather than Golden Ratio proportion of 1.62, so it’s easiest to choose 1.50 as a standard thumbnail ratio.

That’s interesting. I always thought that the standard image size is 4:3 (1.33 proportion).
