With Robson & Jones and KRD, we created Energy Shutdown, a four player interactive exhibit, for the Energy Gallery in London Science Museum.

Skycrappers rise up in the middle of the table. The mini games present scenarios of blackout, and challenge the users to restore power to the city. The skcrappers gradually blink and light up as the user completes the games. Videos and more information are available from the Robson & Jones site.

For the game design, we decided to use an abstract silhouette style with very smooth animations. The visual effects and gameplay are unique and very well received by the audience.

Update: I visited Science Museum around Christmas in 2006. The installation was still running and the kids still loved it!
