Fume constructs typography on a field of force, in which each alphabet is rendered by the underlying “currents”. Vector field, used in simulations of fluid and air, is the technical basis of this work.

The field responds to mouse movements, and the flowing particles that render the alphabets converge and diverge. This dynamic interaction brings forth complex and moving type forms.
